The Republican Senators in the confirmation hearing for the Supreme Court nominee Judge Jackson behavior was/is beyond the pale. They themselves could not stand up to the same kind of badgering, disrespect and single item focused scrutiny. Sadly as a black woman, she is accustomed to this kind of treatment, her qualifications aside, simply because she is a black woman. Her poise and perseverance demonstrated that. The Republicans on the judicatory have lost my respect utterly. If these are representative of the leadership of the RNC, I can now say that the Republican Party is no longer the party of Lincoln but the party of Hypocrites without exception.
I now ask my senators to confirm Judge Jackson as a Supreme Court judge without reservation.
