Today I witnessed our president attempt to harangue, bully and debase the leader of Ukraine. A leader who has shown more grit, fearlessness and valor than Trump or Vance have in their little toes. You represent a number of Ukraine refugees who fled here when Russia invaded their sovereign country. Ukrainian children attending our schools, the trauma of what they witnessed clear on their faces. Trauma inflicted by Putin. I'm asking, as a constituent, that you stand for Ukraine. That you stand for diplomacy. That you stand for what is right. What happened today was not diplomacy. What Trump did was not right. Speak up. Please. Support Ukraine.
