Greetings. I am a voting constituent in rural west Texas.
A day of nation-wide anger in the streets. People, men and women, young and old, all pissed.
No one expects to change the upcoming SCOTUS Roe v Wade decision stripping half the population of personhood. But the people do expect to let ELECTED officials know that their actions will not stand. And that we will not go back.
You can legislate against our wishes. But you can’t tame the anger caused by disregarding the will of the people who put you in office.
So unless you can actually figure out how to disenfranchise the majority of American voters, let’s just hope if you’re not listening to us in the streets, that you will at the ballot box.
This anger will not pass. It is primal, deep, and real.
