Russia's indiscriminate killing of Ukrainian civilians, most recently through missile strikes on Kyiv that left over a dozen dead and many more injured, are reprehensible war crimes that President Putin bears full responsibility for. America cannot align itself with such a regime. Any lasting peace must uphold Ukraine's territorial integrity, achieve justice for Russian atrocities, and protect innocent lives by supporting Ukraine's self-defense unconditionally.
