Do your job. You swore an oath. Impeach, convict, remove Donald Trump

Yesterday, Donald Trump signed an executive order declaring that no other authority may interpret “laws” that he puts into effect besides himself or his attorney general. You cannot keep pretending that this is not a coup. There is no more dodging, excusing, rationalizing, minimizing, gaslighting, side-stepping, splitting hairs, or outright lying about it. THIS IS A COUP. You have largely abdicated your oath to the Constitution in the short span of 4 weeks. This very act is why we sought independence from England. We will not be ruled by a king, and we damn sure will not be ruled by you. If all of you actually honored your oath, there would be 535 of you standing in solidarity on this. I want to believe there are enough of you left who still believe in the rule of law. So far you are proving me very, very wrong. You must move to impeach, convict and remove Donald Trump from the presidency. Or you must resign your office. Your inaction has already permitted chaos to pervade the entire world stage as we are being forced to collapse from within. Your failure has cost jobs, resources, and lives in this country and others. If it takes bodies piling up outside and inside the Capitol to get your attention, I believe you have not much longer to wait. Some of our legislators have already experienced this in recent memory, and I find it inconceivable that you want it to occur on an even larger scale. But I stopped having faith in you when you allowed USAID to stop feeding children because they aren’t your children. I don’t want one more weak, pathetic, cowardly answer out of you. I don’t want my intelligence insulted or my alarm dismissed. I simply want you to do the job you were elected to do. Do it, or resign today.
