Protect disabled protections, uphold section 504 of the ADA

Ending the protections afforded by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act would be a devastating blow to individuals with disabilities across the nation. This federal law has been instrumental in ensuring equal access and prohibiting discrimination based on disability in programs and activities receiving federal funding, including educational institutions. Revoking these safeguards would deprive countless students, from those with physical impairments to those with mental health conditions or gender dysphoria, of the accommodations and support they need to succeed academically and fully participate in school life.
