Anyone who supports Assembly Bill 1709 is a corporate shill. Don't you dare to pretend you care about children. Age verification isn't going to protect children. Education will, but I don't see anything about more funding for more mental healthcare in schools. Stop French-kissing the buttholes of Silicon Valley, because your bill has nothing that will actually protect the data of California citizens. All you're going to do is drive teenagers - and adults who don't want our state to become a surveillance state - to darker places on the Internet.
