HOW FAR ARE YOU WILLING TO GO TO SUPPORT TRUMP’S DELUSIONS?
1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!
Looks like economist concerns about accuracy of economic statistics coming out of the Trump WH was right. As were the ‘vibes’ we the people were feeling, even as we were assured we were doing GREAT.
This week’s report packed a one-two punch.
It showed employers added only 73,000 jobs in July, way below the 115,000 economists had predicted.
It showed that the jobs reports for May and June had juiced new jobs added in those months. May’s original estimate of 144,00 was revised down to 19,000. June’s original estimate of 147,000 down to just 14,000.
That’s a decrease of almost 90%.
The reality shows that Trump’s high tariffs and the chaos surrounding them slowed growth almost immediately. Healthcare added jobs because tariff effects are different for that sector. But hiring in manufacturing fell to a 9-year low in May.
What followed was predictable. Trump claimed that the commissioner of labor statistics had manipulated the jobs report. “In my opinion, today’s Jobs Numbers were RIGGED in order to make the Republicans, and ME, look bad,” he wrote.
So he fired her.
While he continued to berate and pressure Jerome Powell to resign. Powell, the only adult left in the room to save the American economy from a president who doesn’t mind the damage done as long as he can tout everything is GREAT.
Now he’s attempting to negate even the reality of numbers.
The jobs report, firing of the commissioner of labor statistics, and tariff announcement all worked to drive the stock market down. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1.23%, the S&P 500 fell 1.60% and the Nasdaq Composite fell 2.24%.
Between this and the continuing Epstein bonfire, Trump is trying another distraction. He posted…
“Based on the highly provocative statements of the Former President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, who is now the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, I have ordered two Nuclear Submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions, just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than just that. Words are very important, and can often lead to unintended consequences, I hope this will not be one of those instances. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
Now he’s playing reckless with our nuclear capabilities.
Trump’s wild stories, inability to understand numbers, and inability to place events correctly into a timeline are obvious signs of mental decline. Not to mention his perpetual state of paranoid persecution. The president is living in a fantasy world of his own creation. And when anyone or anything disagrees with that fantasy he turns into the Red Queen.
“Off with their head!”
My question to you is, will you be comfortable parroting obvious lies and/or fantasies you know to be untrue? Will you support the delusions he is trying to make us believe?
Will you finally, once and for all, give up all semblance of leadership for fealty to a mad king?
