An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Restore public health data access - promote health equity

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

Restore the deleted public health data and information on federal websites immediately. Suppressing access to crucial research, surveillance data, and resources related to key health issues like adolescent behaviors, LGBTQ+ health, HIV/AIDS, and infectious diseases creates dangerous knowledge gaps. This undermines our ability to understand and effectively address pressing public health challenges through evidence-based policies and programs. Public health decisions must be grounded in scientific data and research, not driven by ideology or discrimination against vulnerable populations. Reinstate the purged websites and their content to enable public health professionals to continue their vital work protecting the nation's health and wellbeing.
