COVID-19 relief

It’s critical that a COVID-19 relief package include: ✔️ Increases in SNAP benefits to help families put food on the table ✔️ Emergency rental assistance to help for families stay in their homes ✔️ More aid to state and local governments to prevent additional job layoffs and cuts in critical services that would lengthen and deepen the recession ✔️ Adequate unemployment insurance benefits for people who have lost their jobs ✔️ Child care assistance so that parents have the safe, affordable child care they need to be able to return to work when it’s safe to do so. By helping more people buy food, pay the rent, and meet other basic needs, a new relief package would help pump into our economy to support local businesses and strengthen our economic recovery.
