An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Stop federal ICE in our state with laws for the below issues

4 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

I'm writing to ask that you pass laws that address the following issues below immediately: -within the state of Maryland, ICE must show their faces and badges at ALL times - use of "non lethals".is restricted to having a court order beforehand to go ahead - ICE vehicles must be clearly marked - no new or old detention centers in our state - when registering their child for any kind of daycare or school they must declare their profession for the safety of school staff and students - when going to a doctor's appointment, bank, restaurant , hotel, car appointment, etc. They must declare their profession for the safety of the person and their clients - ICE, DHS, Border Control, may not come within 5 blocks of any polling location leading up and several days after election day - when " arresting" someone, ICE must call the police and EMS in that county to witness the arrest, ideally with an interpreter present. ICE has beyond abused their unmeasured power and we need to put back in the rail guards.
