Vote No on Trump's War Spending and Defense Budget Increases

35 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

Vote against any funding for Trump's war in Iran and reject his 2027 budget proposal that seeks $1.5 trillion in defense spending. This war of choice has dragged on for over a month with no end in sight, and now Trump is threatening to bomb Iranian bridges and electric power plants in late-night social media posts. International law experts warn these strikes on civilian infrastructure could constitute war crimes. This isn't America First. It's reckless escalation that's already pushed oil prices above $100 per barrel and tanked Trump's economic approval to just 31%. Meanwhile, Trump claims the federal government can't afford Medicare, Medicaid, or childcare and wants to slash non-defense spending by 10%. Rep. Ro Khanna pointed out that the billions spent on Iran could fund childcare programs. Sen. Andy Kim noted that three weeks of war costs could provide vision, hearing, and dental coverage to every Medicare senior for a year. Trump wants a 44% increase in defense spending while cutting programs that actually help Americans. That's not putting America first. Vote no on war funding and reject this morally bankrupt budget.
