Planned parenthood: Supreme Court and Reconcilliation bill

I’m very upset about the Supreme Court’s ruling yesterday allowing states to block Medicaid recipients from using Planned Parenthood. I have gotten my reproductive care from Planned Parenthood since I was 17 and I’m now 61! As a sex teacher and parenthood is always a trusted resource that I offer my students. Grandpa parenthood is a staple in women’s lives and has always been on a sliding scale Which is essential for most of us. In addition to the supreme courts actions, I’m extremely upset that Republicans are trying to defund Planned Parenthood in their reconcilliation budget bill—which I oppose almost in its entirety. Defunding or otherwise limiting access to Planned Parenthood would put over a million patients at risk of losing access to health care. It's chaotic, cruel, and dangerous. Congress needs to stop these attacks and support access to Planned Parenthood. Ask most young people where they go for reproductive care and you’ll find out how important parenthood is! Do all you can to preserve this treasured facet of American society.
