Intelligence Agency Firings Compromise American Safety - Demand Oversight

I am calling on you to investigate the alarming purges happening across our federal agencies. Over 100 intelligence officers were abruptly fired for alleged misconduct in government chatrooms, raising serious concerns about due process and political targeting. Reports also indicate that high-ranking military officials, such as General Charles Q. Brown, were removed without justification, and Social Security Administration offices are being shut down after officials opposed interference from the Department of Government Efficiency. These sweeping actions, reported by multiple news outlets, suggest a dangerous consolidation of power and an attack on independent oversight. This is not how a democratic government functions. Firing career professionals, gutting oversight agencies, and replacing officials with unqualified loyalists weakens national security and public trust. When LGBTQ+, BIPOC, disabled, and other marginalized communities are disproportionately affected, it becomes clear that this administration is targeting those who don’t fit its political agenda.
