An open letter to the U.S. Congress

What are you doing?! Stop him.

Dear Representative, I am writing to express serious concern regarding recent developments involving the World Health Organization and its reported preparations related to potential nuclear conflict scenarios. The mere necessity of such planning signals a level of global instability that demands immediate and serious attention from U.S. leadership. At the same time, I am concerned about the decision-making capacity and conduct of Donald Trump as it relates to national security and international relations. When the stakes include nuclear risk, even small lapses in judgment or clarity can have irreversible consequences. This is not a partisan issue—it is a matter of basic risk management at the highest level of government. Congress has both the authority and responsibility to ensure that any individual in a position to influence military or nuclear decisions is fully capable of exercising sound judgment. Oversight mechanisms exist for this purpose, and they should be used where credible concern arises. I urge you to take these developments seriously, to seek clarity on the WHO’s posture, and to ensure that appropriate safeguards and accountability measures are actively in place. The potential consequences of inaction are too severe to ignore.
