Demand an INDEPENDENT evaluation of President's health & cognitive abilities

The President's recent public appearances show troubling behaviors including numerous examples of slurred speech, memory lapses, child-like phrases, using incorrect words, and difficulty following conversations or staying on topic. For the security of our nation, it is imperative that President Trump agree to undergo a comprehensive, independent medical evaluation overseen by an impartial panel of 5 neurologists selected by an 11-person, multi-partisan group of legislators consisting of 5 Representatives and 6 Senators: 5 Republicans, 5 Democrats, and 1 Independent. The selection of the panel should be completed within 21 days. The evaluation should be completed within 14 days of the panel selection. In the event the panel finds the President to be impaired, he must resign immediately. Failing to consent to such an evaluation would be an untenable position and should be construed as the act of an impaired individual. National and world security MUST be prioritized over individual or party ego. The American people require transparency and a Commander-in-Chief with the capacity to do the job.
