THE GOP BEST KEEP TRUMP’S HANDS OFF OUR VOTING RIGHTS

President Trump urged Republicans to seize control of elections and place voting under national authority today in a radio interview on The Dan Bongino Show. Trump framed voting itself as corrupt, claimed elections were stolen from him and argued that Republicans should take over how ballots are cast and counted. “These people were brought to our country to vote and they vote illegally. Amazing that the Republicans aren’t tougher on it,” Trump said, falsely. “The Republicans should say, we want to take over. We should take over the voting, the voting in at least many, 15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting.” As usual, he offered no evidence for any of his claims.  In recent weeks, Trump has also suggested that the US should not even hold the 2026 midterm elections, remarks the WH later dismissed as joking.  We the people aren’t laughing. And we read in the NYT, citing US officials, that the president ordered Tulsi Gabbard the top US intelligence official, to take part in the FBI’s raid on an election facility in Fulton County, GA last week. Before the raid, Trump personally ordered Gabbard to go to Atlanta for the search and coordinated her actions with Andrew Bailey, a co-deputy director of the FBI. This undercuts the DOJ public explanation that Gabbard’s presence at the election hub during the search was just coincidence. Todd Blanche claimed that she attended the raid only because she “happened to be present in Atlanta” at the time. The report also indicated that Trump is personally involved and heavily invested in the FBI’s investigation into Fulton County, Following the raid, Gabbard organized a phone call between the president and some of the agents who executed the raid. During the conversation, Trump reportedly asked the agents questions while praising and thanking them for their work on the inquiry. Trump personally speaking with agents and coordinating actions directly affecting their investigation could undermine any criminal case that might actually come from the FBI’s probe. And why is the director of national intelligence involved in a county-level election issue? Here’s a thought…Gabbard’s involvement suggests that the DOJ and FBI intend to allege that foreign interference led to Trump’s loss in Georgia in 2020. Do you know about any of this planning?
