Resign

Congratulations, we’re now Venezuela. It has happened at the hands of a Republican President who has invited insurrection and violence in the very halls of the U.S. Capitol. And you are complicit. You have supported this man at every turn. You have not just allowed but condoned his insane, dangerous, criminal, seditious behavior. You could have stopped him back in January during impeachment. But, no, you had his back. And as he has bleated on about this election being stolen - which you know is a lie - you could have stopped him simply by saying what we all have known since November- he lost and Joe Biden won. But no, you had to add your support to his lies, had to encourage him in his dangerous rantings, had to encourage the very thugs who stormed our capitol today. You are complicit in today’s outrage, in this assault on our capitol, our democracy, and our country. You are a disgrace to the office you hold and the country you claim to serve. You are an accomplice to sedition. You should resign. Now. And you should beg this nation for forgiveness. You disgust me. Resign. Now.
