Voting is essential to the American way of life. Several courts have recognized there is little to no fraud. The SAVE ACT jeopardizes the ability of many citizens, especially women, to vote. Few women have their current name on their birth certificates. Since the requirements for a Real ID have already proven the authenticity of a person's identity, why not use it for voting registration. Making it difficult for authentic citizens to vote is counterproductive. Two of the Congress persons addressed in this letter are women. Are their current names on their birth certificate? Women have inexorable roles in all our lives and country. Suppressing the vote only creates an imbalance in democracy, our families, and our future. Please vote no should this incomplete, imbalanced bill should reach you.
