Reject “Big Beautiful Bill”

The “Big Beautiful Bill” is going to effectively cancel health insurance for 12-14 million people— this could be the equivalent of everyone in Virginia and everyone in West Virginia losing health coverage. This will raise the overall cost of healthcare in the U.S. because people will revert to using Emergency Rooms instead of primary care. Complex health problems will not be identified and treated until they are entrenched and require expensive and more risky intervention. I am writing to appeal to your desire to protect the citizens you serve and will depend on again in the next election. Do not sign this legislation.
