Stop Trump's pocket recissions: impeach him for illegal impoundment

Please block Trump's latest plan for pocket recissions and impeach him for impoundment. The constitution gives separate powers to each branch of government and appropriations belong to Congress. If a president or other executive branch appointee blocks Congressional appropriations, that is a violation of the constitution: requires impeachment. Read Time magazine's report from last week: "President Donald Trump announced (https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/2026/09/president-trump-takes-historic-action-to-eliminate-wasteful-and-harmful-spending/) Friday that he is seeking to cancel almost $1 billion in federal funding, sidestepping congressional (https://time.com/tag/congress/) approval and earning criticism from lawmakers on both sides of the aisle. Using a controversial move known as a “pocket rescission,” Trump (https://time.com/tag/donald-trump/) said he wanted to nullify $810 million in spending that Congress had approved for programs and agencies, much of which would serve immigrants, minorities, and children." I'm outraged and you should be too. The *Time* article continues: "he Government Accountability Office (https://www.gao.gov/blog/what-pocket-rescission-and-it-legal)(GAO), a nonpartisan government watchdog, has asserted, however, that the move is an illegal sidestepping of the constitutionally protected separation of powers—chiefly, Congress's power of the purse." Please speak out now to make Trump understand that there will be consequences for his refusal to spend Congressionally appropriated fund as Congress determines. You have allowed Trump to usurp Congressional power for too long. Please use all the means available to you to block these illegal rescissions. Impoundment is against the law and the constitution.
