Reject discriminatory anti-transgender student athlete bill

I strongly oppose this proposed legislation as it represents a direct attack on the rights and wellbeing of transgender students. Classifying all sports teams based solely on the gender assigned at birth is discriminatory and fails to account for the complex realities of gender identity. This bill would effectively ban many transgender students from participating in sports altogether, depriving them of valuable opportunities for physical activity, personal growth, and social inclusion. Moreover, the requirement for a study documenting complaints against transgender students in girls' sports seems intended to vilify and marginalize an already vulnerable group.
