An open letter to the U.S. House of Representatives

Stop the Attacks on the Federal Court System - Oppose the No Rogue Rulings Act

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The No Rogue Rulings Act (H.R. 1526) is an alarming attempt to undermine the independence of the federal judiciary and disrupt the balance of powers enshrined in our Constitution. By barring district court judges from issuing nationwide injunctions, this bill seeks to strip them of their authority to check unlawful executive actions that violate Americans' rights. This is a blatant power grab in response to rulings that have thwarted the current administration's unconstitutional policies. Calls to impeach judges for issuing unfavorable rulings and discussions of defunding or eliminating courts represent an authoritarian assault on our democratic system of checks and balances. Allowing the executive branch to circumvent judicial review would have catastrophic consequences for our nation of laws. I urge you to stand strong against these unacceptable attacks on judicial independence by voting against H.R. 1526 and opposing any efforts to rewrite the federal court system for partisan political gain.
