WHY IS THE GOP CONGRESS PROTECTING SEXUAL PREDATORS AS PART OF THEIR JOBS?

Bloomberg reported on Friday that President Trump’s name was redacted earlier this year “numerous times” in the Jeffrey Epstein files by an FBI team determining which information potentially could be released for a FOIA request.
On FBI Director Kash Patel’s orders, special agents joined the FOIA workers to comb through more than 100,000 Epstein-related documents.
Bloomberg’s sources explained that “Trump’s name, along with other high-profile individuals, was blacked out because he was a private citizen when the federal investigation of Epstein was launched in 2006.”
The sources confirmed the FBI had redacted the names of Trump and other prominent public figures even before the DOJ announced last month that “no further disclosure” of the Epstein files “would be appropriate or warranted.”
Does redaction equate with never existed?
The pretense that we will find out whether or not Donald Trump is a sexual predator if the Epstein files are released is disingenuous since we already know he is.
He was found liable for sexually assaulting E. Jean Carroll.
He has been credibly accused of groping, grabbing, and assault by numerous women.
His worse-than-creepy behavior around the teenage girls in beauty pageants he managed is well-documented, as is his closeness to Epstein.
Like all rich and powerful people do, Trump has a protection machine at work. But his is without precedent, because he is President of the US. Our own federal government, funded by our taxes, is pretzel-twisting to protect Trump from whatever’s in those files.
Mike Johnson adjourned Congress to protect Trump, and the GOP members giving him cover, from Democratic measures meant to force them to vote on releasing the Epstein files.
Donald Trump is hiding something. He spent his entire campaign, his family advocating for this, the entire MAGA universe, all his supporters, focused on releasing the Epstein files.
Then he became president, and all of a sudden we know that he’s been told by the DOJ he’s in the files in some way. We know that's true, it's been reported. And he does a complete reversal.
Clearly he is covering something up.
Two things are important. One is protecting the victims, which seem lost in all the noise around distancing Trump. And two, we don’t care who’s in the files. We don’t care how powerful you are. What position you hold. What party you’re in. Or how much money you have. You should be held accountable for the young lives damaged by your wretched actions.
It's time to release the full files and make them available to the public.
Maybe listen to VP Vance on this issue. In 2021 he posted on X…
“What possible interest would the US government have in keeping Epstein’s clients secret?”
“If you’re a journalist and you’re not asking questions about this case you should be ashamed of yourself. What purpose do you even serve?”
But substitute ‘an elected GOP official’ for ‘journalist.’
One is already doing their job. The other, most definitely not.
