President Trump's demolition of the East Wing of the White House—apart from being unabashedly illicit—is an unnecessary and redundant metaphor. What he's doing to the People's House is no less gleefully destructive than the damage he daily inflicts upon the people and fabric of this nation, and upon the world. Congress' silence and inaction are equally destructive, yet somehow more soul-rending. Please, take the actions and speak the words we can't.
