An open letter to State Governors (Maine only)

Governor Mills, please sign LD2971 into law!

116 so far! Help us get to 250 signers!

The Maine Legislature has just passed LD1971 (An Act to Protect Workers in This State by Clarifying the Relationship of State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies with Federal Immigration Authorities). State and local law enforcement should NOT be working with ICE, nor on any matter of policing immigration or border control. I support this legislation and am asking you to please sign this into law. This would be a big step forward for Maine in declining to do ICE enforcement work. Thank you.
