Vote NO on the White House Rescissions package! I read in the news today that the White House has officially asked Congress to rescind $9.4 billion in already approved spending, taking funding away from programs targeted by Elon Musk’s DOGE. I read in an article by AP News that if the Rescissions package is approved, "NPR and PBS would lose federal funding, as would the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, also known as PEPFAR." The article goes on to explain other examples of real negative consequences that would come from these rescissions on such things as global health, national security, emergency communications in rural communities, and public radio and television stations. The funding has previously been appropriated, and for good reasons. Let it be. Vote NO on the White House Rescissions package. Thank you.
