An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Investigate unlawful deportations, defend civil liberties, uphold rule of law

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The Trump administration's handling of the deportations to El Salvador raises serious legal and ethical concerns. Knowingly deporting individuals without allowing due process and judicial review violates fundamental constitutional principles. Many of these deportees had no criminal convictions yet were labelled dangerous threats without substantiation. This disregard for human rights and the rule of law is unacceptable in a democracy. I urge you to thoroughly investigate these actions and take appropriate measures to uphold the law and protect civil liberties. The American people deserve transparency and accountability from their leaders.
