Rail workers deserve sick days

I stand with the rail unions. They deserve sick days. If you want to avoid a strike, force the rail companies to give their workers sick days, don't force the unions to accept a raw deal. Doing so may avert a legal strike, but it will likely escalate into widespread disruptions. Not providing sick days both leads to people coming to work when they shouldn't and being unable to do their job correctly, and pushing them to find employment elsewhere leading to even worse labor shortages. With record profits, the rail companies can afford to give their workers sick days.
