Greetings. I am a voting constituent in rural west Texas. While we watch the joy and hope and inspiration for the future that has become the Harris/Walz campaign, we were today reminded that even though we hear more than see him, he is still trying to figure out what went wrong. And why his clever hate-filled rhetoric and schoolyard nicknames aren’t doing the job anymore. So today he decided to host the press at Mar-a-Lago. I expect that session will be dissected ad infinitum but I’m going to pass a highlight on in case you miss it. “Trump said he believed that the issue widely seen as his biggest vulnerability — abortion — would not play a major role in the election.
