An open letter to the U.S. House of Representatives

Protect Reproductive Rights, Vote NO on HR 722

18 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

I am writing to demand Rep Mullin oppose HR 722, the dangerous attempt to ban abortion nationwide. This bill would take away reproductive rights in every state- even where voters have already chosen to protect them. Speaking as a mother, I know how vital reproductive rights are. I adore my children. I also know how incredibly important and necessary it is for every person to be able to make their own choices about when and how to get pregnant and give birth. Every child deserves to be a truly wanted child, and every parent deserves to make that choice for themselves vs being forced to carry unwanted pregnancies to term. Not to mention that abortion is an essential and necessary medical procedure, and restricting its access directly harms pregnant people including causing deaths. The majority of Americans SUPPORT access to abortion. And banning legal abortions simply means this crucial aspect of essential healthcare will be driven underground to more dangerous methods. Please do not allow this bill to pass.
