Keep the USPS a public service. Protect the USPS from privatization.

Hello,
Keep the USPS a public service.
Privatizing the USPS will break national trust in the Postal Service and could lead to chaos and untold damage.
I'm extremely concerned that privatization could lead to biased and unscrupulous practices and disruption of services.
The United States Postal Service privatization would likely lead to many people losing their jobs.
The United States Postal Service must remain a public, non-partial, and non-politicized service.
Privatizing the USPS could hurt people who rely on this service for checks, packages, medications, crucial document delivery (such as passports and birth certificates), absentee mail-in ballots, and other essential items.
I recently read online a news press release in March of this year that "U.S. Senators Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Dan Sullivan (R-AK), and Gary Peters (D-MI) introduced a bipartisan resolution to protect the independence and services of the United States Postal Service." I also read online that on Jan. 28, 2025, a bipartisan group in the House of Representatives introduced (H.Res. 70), which also emphasizes the need to protect the USPS from privatization.
I urge you to support keeping the USPS a public service.
Also, I think it would be prudent to introduce legislation to ensure that anyone serving in the role of Postmaster General should be required to divest any asset(s) that may be a conflict of interest while holding said position.
Thank you,
