Redistrict now to save democracy

I’m writing as a constituent to urge you to act immediately in response to the alarming mid-decade redistricting push now underway in several GOP-led states, led by Trump and his allies. If Republican leaders succeed in redrawing congressional maps to entrench permanent GOP control, the damage won’t stop at state borders. This is about the integrity of our democracy nationwide. We’ve already seen leaders like Governor Gavin Newsom work to defend fair representation. We need every Democratic governor to do the same and act now, before it’s too late. I urge you to coordinate with legislative leaders without delay to initiate a fair redistricting process that protects voters and ensures equal representation. This is about safeguarding democracy itself and ensuring that voters, not politicians, decide who holds power. Thank you for your leadership and for standing up for fair representation.
