An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Vote No on HR 22 - SAVE Act

23 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

This bill would require documentary proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in federal elections, disproportionately burdening vulnerable groups like women, low-income families, and minority communities who may face greater challenges obtaining the necessary documents. Voting is a fundamental right in our democracy, and erecting additional barriers could suppress voter participation and representation. Instead of restricting access, we should be working to make voting more accessible for all eligible citizens. I urge you to oppose this legislation that would diminish the integrity of our elections by discouraging civic engagement from already marginalized populations.
