Have Colorado Attorney General protect Social Security like AZ and MI

state_all With very real threats now being experienced by Social Security recipients regarding delays or even denials in recent cuts to Social Security services, including missed payments, it is time for the State of Colorado to Act. With newly proposed cuts of an additional 87% planned at all Social Security field offices nationwide, Colorado must, like Arizona and Michigan, to follow suit and have the Attorney General start collecting data on inconsistencies experienced in the Social Security system and take legal action against the Federal Government when services and benefits earned by every Social Security beneficiary in Colorado are denied, delayed, or altered in violation of their rights. Efforts by the states that engage their state attorneys generals offers one of the best tools to ensure Social Security is upheld in all states, and that all lost resources necessary for running the agency are reinstated for a smooth delivery of services. Your failure to address this issue with the utmost urgency will result in staggering financial problems for citizens of Colorado, which then severely impacts Colorado’s own fiscal solvency in the very near future. Your failure to address this personally will likely result in your not being elected at your next primary.
