I’m writing to urge that you oppose H.B. 729, the Farmland Protection Act, which would infringe on the private property rights of North Carolina’s farmers. Farmers and landowners should have the right to lease their land for solar projects. It is not the government’s place to try to stop them from using their land for affordable, clean energy. You must vote against it.
