You work for the people of the United States. Yet, time and time again, we see many of you bending the knee to corruption, to greed, to a radical movement that seeks to dismantle our democracy and strip Americans of their rights.
Every citizen paying attention—every person with a shred of intelligence and decency—is watching you right now. And we are ashamed. We are enraged. We are disgusted with what has been allowed to happen. The erosion of our democracy is not some slow, creeping threat—it is here, now, taking root before our eyes. And too many of you have chosen complicity. Too many of you have allowed white supremacists, homophobes, Nazis, and fascists to infiltrate our government, to set policy, to dictate the future of this nation while millions of Americans struggle under their boot.
Do you remember history? Because if you do, then you know exactly what you are helping to build. You are standing at the precipice of authoritarianism, with your hands raised, saluting its rise. And for those who do nothing, for those who shrink in the face of tyranny, you will be remembered as cowards who let democracy burn.
But we, the people, will not forget. We will not forget those who stood by and approved the nominations of unqualified, corrupt MAGA loyalists. We will not forget those who did not fight hard enough to stop this last year, who let billionaires and extremists seize control. We will not forget the Republicans who time and again vote against the people, lining their pockets while Americans suffer. We will not forget the Democrats who did not fight hard enough, who were too timid, too measured, too slow.
America is at a breaking point. We are hurtling toward the full realization of Project 2025, a dystopian nightmare that will cost millions of lives. The disabled. The poor. Minorities. LGBTQ+ individuals. Women. Children. The most vulnerable among us will pay the price of your inaction. And every senator who stands by and lets this happen will have that blood on their hands.
To those who are fighting—keep fighting. Be louder. Be relentless. Be vicious. The enemies of democracy have been unyielding in their mission to tear this country apart. We need you to match their ferocity, to be more tenacious, to be stronger. We support you. We stand with you.
But to those who are cowering, to those who are letting this happen—history will judge you. We, the voters, will judge you. Are you American, or are you a fascist? Are you for the people, or are you for the highest bidder? The answer will determine your legacy.
Grow a spine. Fight for us. Fight for democracy. Or get the hell out of the way. Because America has no room for cowards. America has no room for fascists. And America has no room for those who betray its people.
