Do Not Let Trump Weaponize the DOJ

congress The recent executive orders signed by President Trump instructing the DOJ to investigate private U.S. citizens, Christopher Krebs and Miles Taylor sets a chilling precedent. This is clearly the first effort by Trump to attack his enemies, and weaponizing the DOJ by decree. This is just the camel’s nose in the tent, and if it is allowed to continue unchallenged, we will soon be living in a police state where free speech and open assembly will no longer be allowed. I urge you and Congress to put a stop this practice NOW, before it escalates beyond our control. The DOJ must remain an autonomous agency, operating above the President’s whim for revenge.
