Stop Capitulating: Schumer Should Resign, Democrats Must Lead

Your support for the Republican-backed spending bill was an embarrassment—plain and simple. Senator Schumer, your actions are so egregious that you should resign or, at the very least, cede your minority leadership role to a more progressive, courageous member. As a lifelong millennial Democrat, I feel humiliated by your inability to stand firm, and I question if this party still deserves my vote. Your spinelessness makes it clear the Democratic Party has no coherent direction, no backbone, and certainly no fight. Enough fumbling and capitulation. We need strong, forceful leftist leadership, not weak liberal compromises. Stop humiliating yourselves and your constituents. Stand up, fight, and demonstrate the boldness and unity we elected you for—or risk losing voters like me permanently.
