Billions Wasted. American Lives Lost. End This War.

Congress has a constitutional duty to decide when this nation goes to war—not to stand silently while another open-ended conflict consumes American lives and taxpayer dollars. The war with Iran has become an enormous human and financial cost. Billions upon billions of taxpayer dollars have already been spent while Americans struggle to afford healthcare, housing, education, and basic necessities. Every missile fired overseas is money taken away from the needs of the American people. Even more troubling is the toll on our military. Too many American service members have been killed, too many more have been seriously wounded, and thousands remain stationed at bases across the Middle East that have become repeated targets for retaliation. Every day this conflict continues, more families receive life-changing phone calls that should never have happened. Congress cannot continue to abdicate its constitutional responsibility. If military action was undertaken without proper authorization, then Congress must investigate it, reassert its war powers, and bring this conflict to an end. Endless escalation only increases the risk of a wider regional war while placing more American lives in jeopardy. How many more service members must die? How many more will return home with permanent physical and psychological injuries? How many more billions of taxpayer dollars will be poured into another war with no clear objective or exit strategy? The American people are exhausted by endless wars. We deserve leaders who value diplomacy before military action and who understand that the lives of our troops are not expendable. I demand that Congress immediately exercise its constitutional authority, stop funding unnecessary escalation, require full transparency from the administration, and take every available action to end this conflict. Put America and the American people first—not another endless war. Do something. Now.
