An open letter to the U.S. Congress

What is the point of congress?

8 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!

congress I am writing to urge you to stop abrogating your responsibilities by standing idly by while the administration goes around you. Our democracy requires checks and balances, and Congress must ensure it remains a vital part of the legislative process. The administration's bypassing of Congress endangers your role and undermines representative democracy. Please stand firm against any dictatorial tendencies and uphold the values of your office by being courageous and working with your opposition counterparts to ensure that the president and his surrogates follow established law. Your decisive action is crucial in safeguarding our democratic institutions.
