You Gut Christ’s Teachings—And Now You Want to Force Them Into Schools?
1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!
As a lifelong Christian, parent, and grandparent in Texas, I’m upset and heartbroken.
You and your colleagues are pushing laws that directly violate the teachings of Jesus Christ. And now you want to force those same teachings into public schools? You want the same teachers you accuse of being “too woke,” of brainwashing kids, and somehow secretly performing sex changes between lunch and recess—to now teach the Bible?
Christ preached compassion.
You legislate cruelty.
Christ welcomed the stranger.
You cage, starve, and deport them.
Christ fed the hungry.
You cut resources to the poor, the elderly, and the vulnerable.
Christ healed the sick.
You ignore the suffering, gut the funding for research, force births, and imprison the mentally ill.
Christ said love your neighbor.
You push HATE and DIVISION.
You claim to follow Jesus, but if He showed up in Texas today, you’d throw Him in a holding cell, give Him one cup of water a day, and say He doesn’t belong here.
Now you want my grandkids to study a Bible in school—the same schools where you’ve applauded inequality and exclusion of anyone who isn’t white, straight, and male? A Bible of which you’ve stripped all meaning?
They see the hypocrisy. They know the difference between the Sermon on the Mount and a campaign slogan.
And I’ll tell you what it’s doing: it’s pushing them away from the faith entirely.
My grandchildren are becoming atheists—not because they hate God, but because they can’t stomach the version of “Christianity” they see coming from their government.
You are NOT defending the Gospel.
You’re weaponizing it.
If you truly care about faith in Texas, live it before you legislate it. Make laws you’d be proud to defend in heaven. Otherwise, stop shoving Christ into schools while crucifying His teachings in law.
Because what you’re doing isn’t saving souls—it’s driving them away!
