Give Americans back the IRS service to report taxes

For decades I did my own taxes. Lately I was using Intuit but last year I used IRS free tax returns. The IRS product was better than anything else I've used. It was relatively straightforward, it got the job done and it was over with! The year before I had to pay $150 for Intuit and then they messed up my state taxes. So I was happy to have it done quickly and cleanly. But Congress doesn't want IRS to provide services. Republicans want to tax Americans by forcing us to use paid services. This year it will cost me $80 just for the state return. Because you cannot give Americans the simple ability to pay taxes THAT YOU NEED. If you want to be reelected You must promise me that the IRS is going to take over this task. Stop caving in the corporations that bribe you to give them business. If you can't represent Americans then GET OUT!
