Demand Immediate Investigation of Musk & His Companies

Elon Musk’s unchecked influence over federal operations has crossed a dangerous line. His installation of Starlink at the White House, presented as a “donation,” raises serious conflict of interest concerns—especially after a Musk employee triggered a security breach by accessing a federal rooftop without clearance (The Guardian, March 18, 2025). Musk’s role in dismantling the U.S. Agency for International Development through the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has already been ruled “likely unconstitutional” by a federal judge, citing violations of the Appointments Clause (Wall Street Journal, March 2025). This pattern of lawlessness is a direct threat to our democracy. House Democrats have also demanded records on DOGE’s operations, citing growing fears over its legality and Musk’s outsized role in shaping government policy (AP News, March 2025). Congress must launch an immediate investigation into these abuses of power. Our government is not for sale, and no private citizen should have unchecked control over national security or foreign aid.
