An open letter to the U.S. Senate

NV needs legislation prohibiting party switching once elected and in office!

Cotham’s decision to switch political parties shortly after being elected is deceitful, dishonorable and a betrayal to the people who voted for her and to the entire state of North Carolina. I would highly suggest that a bill be introduced here in Nevada that would not allow party switching once elected. If someone is elected and wants to switch parties once in office, they should be forced to resign and can run again under the party of their choice. I strongly urge a bill be introduced to solidify guidelines regarding this issue. An ounce of prevention for the state of Nevada.
