No deal on shutdown without stopping the Trump coup

I am writing to you after reading that Democrats may be giving in to Republicans on a spending deal to avert the government shutdown on 3/15. With Musk running roughshod over our institutions and Trump purging the military leadership, it is imperative to keep whatever leverage possible to protect us. This means you must not vote for any spending deal which does not include a provision to end *all* the lawbreaking being done by the Trump administration. Republicans have enough votes to pass any spending deal themselves -- if they cannot, that will be on them. This should be a very easy story to sell, considering the reaction we are seeing to their actions across the country. If you vote to pass their spending bill *without* ensuring this mess does not continue, the continuation of these actions will be on you. As my representative I ask you to hold the line here and use the only power you currently have to protect democracy. Thank you for all you are doing.
