Are you just looking for things to waste our taxes on now?

In the past 20 years, I’d be hard-pressed to find moments in time when a president had bipartisan support for anything he tried to accomplish. Likewise, I cannot recall a moment when both sides of the aisle wanted to join forces in opposition… And yet here we are. Congratulations on another presidential first! Of all the topics that concern Americans of both major parties- be it healthcare, immigration, crime… literally none of us are concerned with a fifty year old scandal like Watergate. Sir, all of the players are dead. A posthumous investigation spends OUR tax dollars for a case that affects NO ONE. Give us a break. Seriously. Between the war and the tariffs and the ballroom and the shady stock dealings… we’re exhausted. Worse- we’re broke. Let’s not compound that with an investment in an incentive that benefits no one.
