Abolish the Electoral College

I understand that Senators Schatz, Durbin, and Welch have introduced a joint resolution to amend the U.S. Constitution, abolishing the Electoral College and mandating a popular vote for the president. I strongly support this resolution and urge the Senator to vote in favor of it. The Electoral College is outdated and undemocratic, and it’s time for it to be eliminated.
