I am writing to express my deep concern over reports that Elon Musk may be gaining access to the U.S. Treasury Department and American citizens’ personal data, including Social Security numbers. Allowing an unelected billionaire—who has never worked in government—to have such access is a dangerous precedent that threatens our democracy and personal privacy. This move is yet another step toward an oligarchy, where wealth, rather than experience or public service, determines power and influence. The American people did not elect Elon Musk, nor should his financial status grant him control over government institutions or sensitive citizen data. Our government should serve the people, not the interests of the ultra-wealthy. I urge you to stand up against this erosion of our democracy. Please work to ensure that individuals without government oversight or proper qualifications are not granted access to our most sensitive institutions and personal information. The American people deserve transparency, accountability, and leaders who prioritize their constituents over the interests of the elite. Thank you for your time and attention to this urgent matter.
