An open letter to State Governors

Deny Assistance for Mass Deportations

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The Trump administration's proposed mass deportation of over 10 million undocumented immigrants would have catastrophic economic consequences for our nation. Immigrants, including those without legal status, support key industries facing labor shortages such as construction, agriculture, and technology. Their removal en masse would exacerbate these shortages, disrupt vital supply chains, cause consumer prices to spike, and lead to delays that cripple businesses. Beyond the moral reprehensiveness of such a policy, the economic fallout alone makes clear that we must prevent this misguided plan from proceeding. As governor, you have the authority to deny state resources and local law enforcement from assisting in these deportations. I urge you to take that stand to protect our state's residents and economic interests from needless disruption. The mass expulsion of a vital workforce would be devastating – we cannot let this reckless policy move forward.
